In the period January-April 2023, IPRT's Acting Executive Director exchanged emails with Deputy Ivana Bacik and Deputy Jennifer Carroll MacNeill re next steps of All-Party Oireachtas Group on Penal Reform. Decisions were made in regards Deputy Carroll MacNeill stepping down as co-chair of the Group and postponing further work with the Group until recruitment of new Legal & Public Affairs Manager (Maternity Cover) in IPRT.
