Oxfam Ireland and grassroots campaign Access to Medicines Ireland hosted an event forWorld AIDS Day (Dec 1) “How Ireland can be a leading voice in addressing global health inequalities” inviting TDs and Senators to meet their constituents to discuss global health issues including the WHO Pandemic Treaty negotiations.
Intended results
To make politicians aware of the ongoing HIV health inequities, low vaccine rates in low income countries, and how the pandemic treaty can address this. To create political urgency for Ireland to be pro equality in our role in negotiating the WHO pandemic treaty.
