Intended results An amendment to the upcoming Road Traffic Bill. An arrangement for the minister to use a current fully operational fully Autonomous RoboTaxi service on an upcoming visit to China. The granting of licenses for multiple operators wishing to enter the Irish market for trials on Irish roads for on-demand Shared Mobility Autonomous vehicles and RoboTaxis this year 2023 with the publication of the regulations and guidelines from the European Union and UNECE to allow for deployments in Ireland. An additional meeting at government buildings to discuss it further.
