Meeting (1)

I met Tim Duggan, the Assistant Secretary General at the Depmt of Social Protection in the departments office on Store Street on Dec 8th. It was an opportunity for me to introduce Mr Duggan to Amundi, our history, who we are and what we stand for as an Investment Manager. Amundi is Europe's largest asset manager, we have been in Ireland since 1998. Dublin is a strategic location for Amundi and is one of our six global investment centres, with 350 staff on the ground on Dublin's George's Quay. Amundi manages over €1.8 trillion in client money and has some very high profile clients in the Irish market already, including some state organisations. We are also a key investment manager within the UK's auto enrolment program managing several asset types within the NEST pension plan. This was just an introductory meeting with Mr Duggan in advance of the launch of any future tender process for Investment Management services within the new auto enrolment scheme launching in 2024.
