Specific Details As part of an introductory meeting to update Minister Coveney on the Danone business in Ireland, we shared details of Project Clover, an industry project committing to large-scale biomethane production on Irish farms, which can support the agrifood sector in meeting its climate objectives.

Intended results Informing Minister Coveney about the Danone business in Ireland, our manufacturing footprint and health-focused portfolio including dairy, plant-based, waters and specialised nutrition, and discussing how our business has adapted to Brexit. Informing Minister Coveney of the details and potential of Project Clover and seeking Government support for large-scale biomethane production on Irish farms, to support in meeting the agrifood sector’s climate objectives.

Meeting with Minister Coveney to introduce Danone in Ireland attended by James Mayer CEO Danone UK & Ireland, Killian Barry Managing Director Danone Ireland, Donal Dennehy Director Danone Supply Point Macroom and Grace Milton Head of Corporate Affairs Danone Ireland. Updating on the Danone business in, and contribution to Ireland, and discussing the potential of the Project Clover biomethane initiative as a key opportunity for the Irish agrifood sector to meet climate objectives.
