Meeting (1)
?Invitation extended to Trade Union's in Limerick to meet with Ivana Bacik to discuss our issues and expectations from the Labour Party. From Mandate Trade Union's perspective we raised the inadequate minimum wage, the Living Wage being more appropriate as the minimum, precarious contracts, the provision in the minimum wage Act to pay less than the minimum wage for those deemed to be inexperienced. Outlined that we are not allowed to represent members on an individual basis or collectively bargain for in a number of employments. Also rent costs and lack of rental properties discussed.
