Specific Details Galway City draft development plan 2023 to 2029. I put together and submitted a document outlining the sport of archery and how it might be catered to if new sports facilities, indoor and outdoor, are developed as part of the plan.

Intended results A conversation with Galway City Council leading to the recognition of archery as an active sport within the city, in the hope that archery is considered in the development of new facilities and is permitted to use existing facilities. Archery and other small sports are not typically involved in consultation when facilities are being developed or opened for use. Many feel that this is because we are not well established and do not have a groundswell of political or community support.
