Specific Details Nadine O’Brien, Outreach Manager, met with Councillor Hazel De Nortuin, People Before Profit (PBP) to discuss a proposed motion to Dublin City Council (DCC) regarding the need for a Domestic Violence liaison worker in Dublin City Council. The outcome was that DCC agreed to a discussion and also that the role of a DV Liaison Officer would in theory be a good idea.

Intended results To fine tune such a role, it was agreed that a meeting with DCC Housing Dept and other Dublin based DV services would be beneficial. The Lord Mayor was asked to chair and possibly convene such a meeting. The meeting took place on 14th April 2022 in the Mansion House with SDVS attending alongside other DV services and Hazel de Nortuin who was proposing the motion.
