Specific Details Sustainability webinar involving the Minister for the Environment

Intended results For the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications to share his views with our members at the closing event of our Engineers Ireland Sustainability 'Grand Tour' series of webinars about sustainability. Additionally, for the Minister to hear the views of members relating to engineers’ roles in developing more sustainable cities and communities and to hear how engineers can integrate sustainability concepts into their projects at all stages, from design to end-of-life.

This was a webinar for members held on 13 May 2021. The webinar was the final in a series of 19 events on this topic of sustainability. These events were all learning opportunities for the members of our organisation. The Minister was a guest speaker and attended. (Mr Maurice Buckley listed on this entry was the President of Engineers Ireland at that time (2020-2021) and attended the webinar & spoke).
