Intended results Provision of information regarding the impact of heart valve disease so that political stakeholders could advocate more effectively on patients’ behalf. Calling for a new National Cardiovascular Health Strategy which would include heart valve disease. PQs to the Minister for Health and HSE regarding the diagnosis and treatment of heart valve disease, and the provision of adequate resources for a better patient pathway. Provision for properly resourced echocardiography services in health budget.
