Specific Details A Supply Agreement between the pharmaceutical industry and the goverment expired and a new Agreement was to be negotiated between the pharmaceutical industry and the DoH/State.

Intended results To ensure an Agreement was reached. An Agreement was reached providing extensive savings to pharmaceutical expenditure through price cuts bringing the price of on-patent medicines in Ireland in line with 14 other European countries and providing greater detail on the process for reimbursment of new medicines.
