Specific Details Economic impacts to the business community, owners and employees, being endured during the Covid Restrictions.

Intended results Focused discussion on two case studies of businesses, one in Tralee and one in County Kerry who have lost significant trade with the closure of other businesses under the restrictions, and specifically who are unable to avail of the CRSS supports for business, and the impact that is having. In our submissions to the meeting we also focused in on the impact on Town Centres over the past number of years and the need to address vacancy. We also had the opportunity to present the need for increased support for County Kerry, including seeking inclusion for Kerry in the Western Development Commission. We also outlined the significant impact on the tourism and hospitality industry in Kerry, and made contributions on the opportunities for Remote Working in Kerry.
