Intended results Reappraisal of applications from the sector which have received a negative determination. Request a meeting with DRCD Principal Officers responsible for CVSS management, so that we might make a short presentation on the ethos and social benefits of Community Radio and its role within the Community and Voluntary Sector. To highlight the need for funding for the development and sustainability of the Community Radio sector To invite Minister Martin to officially open Craol’s annual Feile in Kilkenny on Friday November 13th To ensure that Community Radio is assessed as 'essential frontline service' as outlined in the Department of the Taoiseach No. 9 Information and Communications List of Essential Services (March 2020). To ensure that all Departments / Agencies were aware of the differences between Community Radio and Commercial Radio To ensure that Community Radio would be recognised as a vehicle for Advertising by Government Departments / State agencies etc in the future
