Letter (1)

A letter was sent to the Taoiseach and Minister Bruton requesting to meet to discuss the Just Transition to a low carbon economy, the National Dialogue on Climate Action, Intergenerational Dialogue, and climate policy coherence. The letter came from Friends of the Earth Ireland and Fridays for Future Ireland.

Meeting (1)

Meeting was attended by Oisín Coghlan (Friends of the Earth), Caoimhe de Barra of Trócaire for the Stop Climate Chaos coalition. Mindy O’Brien of Voice for the Environmental Pillar. Yvonne O’Callaghan of SIPTU for Coalition 2030 The purpose of the meeting was to engage with civil society in light of the Climate Action Plan. The meeting came in response to a request to meet with the Taoiseach, which came from Friends of the Earth Ireland and Fridays for Futures Ireland, and a separate request which came from Stop Climate Chaos coalition.
