The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Meeting (1)

Minister Byrne's office facilitated arrangement of a meeting with Minister Simon Harris in the Dail on the 19th June to discuss funding to support operational costs and a Registry co-ordinator to sustain and optimise the future of the ITS ILD Registry which is designed to collect important data which will improve diagnosis and care of Idiopathic Pulmonary Disease, stimulate research and support healthcare planning. Minister Harris was unable to attend at the last minute but the meeting proceeded with Minister Byrne and Mr Alan Cahill and Ms Sandra Barnes from the Dept of Health and Professor Tim McDonnell, National Clinical Lead for Respiratory. Professor Ross Morgan, ITS President, Professor Anthony O'Regan, ITS ILD Registry Chair and Suzanne McCormack ITS CEO attended the meeting on behalf of the ITS.
