Specific Details Engaging in relation to changes in Legislation to the 1997 Credit union Act as Amended in 2012

Intended results To ensure the protection of Credit Union members by ensuring errors within the legislation are corrected whilst engaging the department of finance around good practices relating to BOC's. The communications with the department we hope will ensure that any amendments are aligned to good governance to protect the CU memberships' rights in Law and Regulation.

1. An introduction of the NSF and it’s links in legislation. 2. The significance to protect the ‘BOC’ a. Role, b. Independent function and c. it’s links to the membership within a new legal governance framework. 3. Discussion around CUAC’s ToR for 2019 and the inclusion of the BOC in the researched in similar fashion as the Directors and other integral parts of the Credit Union Movement
