Specific Details Met with the Assistant Secretary and two officials today 26th of January 2016 - to information share in respect of the Eir Regulatory Governance Report - RGM/Styles Report. ALTO called on Department to consider policy directions and to encourage ComReg to take steps to expedite its dealings over the RGM and the disclosures therein.

Intended results Persuade the Department that the issues in the RGM/Styles Report are serious and material to effective wholesale competition, confidence in the communications regulatory system and the future of investment. ALTO suggested that it is reviewing options in relation to the EU Commission and further FOI requests to ComReg. ALTO also called on the Department to probe claims that ComReg resource is a problem. No discussion re. NBP took place.
