Intended results To retain the VAT rate of 9% for Tourism & Hospitality in the light of the uncertainty of Brexit, to have Ireland's VAT rate in line with other European member states and to facilitate the recovery in the Tourism & Hospitality sector in rural and border counties who have not yet seen a return of business and profits since the economic crash.
