The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Letter (1)

Follow up letter to that issued on the 9 April 2018- providing an update on safeguarding events including key meetings and seminars held to progress the HIQA/Mental Health Standards and the Adult Safeguarding Bill. NSC highlighted that the key theme emerging from these events is the requirement for a whole government approach to safeguarding legislation, in line with international best practice.
