Meeting (1)

Meeting with shadow justice spokesperson Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire to discuss the need for immigration reform. We are promoting the need to ‘plan not react’ to current inward migration, which is only set to increase, whatever the route (resettlement, relocation, seeking international protection and more regularised flows). We also want to see greater clarity on visa and stamps for new arrivals as currently there lack of clarity and too much discretion means current system is both opaque and not fair.
