Intended results To advise the Minister and to Katherine Licken that ALTO intends to bring this matter to the attention of the EU Commission for investigation, meet with ComReg (in usual course), present to Oireachtas Communications Committee, and to seek policy directions from Minister. No meeting has taken place. To meet with Katherine Licken over the details contained in the Eir Regulatory Governance Model published by Eir in August 2015. No meeting taken place at time of submission. Meeting scheduling taking place presently.

Letter (1)

A letter was copied to the Minister, Katherine Licken - Assistant Secretary at the Department of Communications, EU Commission DG Connect Unit B2 - Ramunas Linartas. dated 2 November 2015. The letter set out concerns of admissions made by Eir in their Regulatory Governance Model, which arguably effect competition in Ireland. A matter clearly relevant to the Minister and the Department of Communications, the future of viable competition and consumer protection. The letter was signed by ALTO and 4 CEOs.
