Event / Reception (1)

We attended Fianna Fail and Sinn Fein ardfheiseanna to discuss the need to improve support for victims of trafficking in Ireland, specifically including improving identification procedures and providing gender-sensitive accommodation. We discussed this with Anne Rabbitte, TD, Darragh O'Brien, TD, Charlie McConalogue, TD, Marc MacSharry, TD, Jim O'Callaghan, TD, Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire, TD, Denise Mitchell, TD and Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh.

Meeting (1)

We met with Minister David Stanton, TD, to discuss a number of issues relating to his brief, including the need for improved identification procedures and gender-sensitive accommodation of victims of trafficking. We followed up our attendance at the Fianna Fail Ard Fheis with a one-to-one meeting with Deputy Darragh O'Brien, TD. We discussed the need for improved protection of victims of trafficking among other immigration-related topics.

Letter (1)

Following a request for more detailed information we submitted a letter to Deputy Minister Denis Naughten, TD, detailing the needs of victims of trafficking in Ireland.
