Letter (1)

Technical issues of professional indemnity, personal liability and security for costs/claims arise, that if left uncured could hamper Ireland's reputation as a centre for maritime dispute resolution. The expanded undertaking required under Form 7 of Appendix J should be realigned to reflect the relevant rules within Order 64 on the basis of legal certainty and that the profession can fully and effectively engage with arresting process.
