Intended results IPPN is a member of the Wellbeing for Teachers and Learners Group (WTL) that is trying to influence the culture in schools to ensure that wellbeing is at the heart of school communities. DES and other programmes are fine - how they are implemented is key as well as providing support to those charged with implementing these programmes in schools. School leadership is key to driving this culture of change.

Meeting (1)

Meetings IPPN attended took place at Merlin College, Doughiska, Co.Galway on the 13th January 2017 and at St Brogans College, Kilbrogan, Bandon, Co Cork on 10th Feb 2017. The DES were keen to hear from experts and practitioners in the area of Wellbeing in education hence the invite to IPPN.
