outlined concerned about the proposed increase of almost 17% in personal injury awards recommended by the Judicial Council and currently before the Minister for Justice. outlined that Increasing awards will inevitably cause insurance premiums to rise at a time when operational coats are already challenging. Outlined that insurance reform delivered by the last government would be greatly diminished, undoing much of the progress made to date.
