Email sent to Deputy McGuinness concerned Oaklee Housing examining the feasibility of purchasing a property located at Shellmsrath, Callan Road, Kilkenny for the purpose of providing accommodation for people coming from St. Patrick's Centre on the Kells Road, Kilkenny, and the email further said. We are currently working through our costings and we are aware that the current septic tank provision in many of the homes in the area are inadequate and reguire upgrading. We are aware that efforts have been made to examine the feasibility of a connection to the public sewerage connection via Irish Water. In the absence of information coming from Irish Water, would you be able to advise if the potential for this connection is likely in the near future else we will include into our costings a full upgrade of the current private section tank. Any information on this would be most helpful and much appreciated.
