Ireland is one of the leading exporters of medical technologies in Europe and Law 125/15 threatens the positive trading partnership between medtech companies based in Ireland and Italy. Law 125/15 is deeply unfair as it compels renegotiation of existing medtech contracts within Italy, which have not yet expired. Medtech companies that do not agree to the government’s request for more favourable terms can have their contracts terminated and sent out for rebidding.
