Clúid Housing
Lobbying activity
The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.
Meeting (6-10)
The Dept of Housing introduced equity component for cost rental believing equity would not be classified as debt. Legal advice confirms this equity is additional lending. LGIM lending to Cluid requires us to remain within 80% gearing. The board requested a 5% ‘contingency buffer’,which brings gearing limit to 75%. The LGIM covenant is a hard stop given the consequences of breaching this limit, which we are now approaching. 29/11/23-Brian O'Gorman/Mark Shakespeare/ Roger Harrington/Aine Stapleton
