Intended results To raise political and public awareness through a Irish Heart Foundation conference on Tobacco Endgame and e-cigarette regulation on the need for the Government to plan for a Tobacco Endgame, as is being introduced in the UK, and the need for greater e-cigarette regulations to protect children. To secure Senator Malcolm Byrne's attendance to speak at the Irish Heart Foundation's Tobacco Endgame and e-cigarette conference. To secure attendance of members of the Oireachtas at the Tobacco Endgame and e-cigarette conference. To raise awareness among members of the Oireachtas, and in particular members of the Joint Committee on health on the need for the introduction of legislation for stronger e-cigarette regulations, and to begin developing a strategy to achieve a smoke-free Ireland.

Email All Oireachtas Members A series of emails to all members of the Oireachtas inviting them, and reminding them, to attend the Irish Heart Foundation's conference on tobacco endgame and e-cigarette regulation on Tuesday the 5th of December. A mass email was sent to all members of the Oireachtas post-event, calling on them to adopt a tobacco endgame for a smoke-free generation, and sharing with them findings of an Ipsos B&A public survey on the matter.
