Social media post led to Carol Nolan TD inviting student to meet her in Leinster House

Meeting (1)

Student accompanied by Rehab staff Sadhbh McHugh and Margaret Keogh, met with Carol Nolan TD and Mattie McGrath TD on the 13th of December 2023 in Leinster House. Issues discussed included the challenges facing young people with disabilities with particular focus on housing, transport, education and training and employment. The crucial role of the National Learning Network in providing education services to young people with a disability or mental health problems was emphasised.
