Text: Please see attached a letter on behalf of Coalition 2030, which encourages you to ensure that the commitment made by Ireland in 2015 to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 is adequately resourced by Budget 2023. It is crucial that as we near the halfway point of SDG implementation, Government provides a strong signal to the people of Ireland that it is committed to integrating the SDGs into national priorities so that nobody is left behind. The Budget is a key metric for assessing this commitment. The 70 Coalition member organisations and networks across the international, environmental, anti-poverty and trade union sectors of society are urging you to use your position as the Minister within whose remit the SDGs fall to advocate for policies that reach the furthest behind first in society, including those on low-incomes, those on fixed incomes, renters, older people, younger people, those with disabilities, carers, those experiencing or at...
