Specific Details We requested that Budget 2023 adequately resources the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), that Budget 2023 must accelerate commitment to Agenda 2030 and that it should reach the furthest behind first.

Intended results That the funds deployed via Budget 2023 work to progress Ireland's achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular by reaching the furthest behind first in society in line with that principle of the SDGs

What is the directive you gave to the grassroots campaigners? Coalition 2030 members were asked to create graphics on Canva using a template provided to them, and to insert their organisation's message into the graphic so that there was a consistent brand on social media across Coalition 2030. They were asked to determine their own message, but that they would generally call for the Government to use Budget 2023 to reach the 'furthest behind first'. Text: Please see attached a letter on behalf of Coalition 2030, which encourages you to ensure that the commitment made by Ireland in 2015 to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 is adequately resourced by Budget 2023. It is crucial that as we near the halfway point of SDG implementation, Government provides a strong signal to the people of Ireland that it is committed to integrating the SDGs into national priorities so that nobody is left behind. The Budget is a key metric for assessing this commitment.
