Ongoing in person and email correspondence with Gorey Kilmuckridge elected Councillors, Local TDs and Senator Malcolm Byrne, regarding community and environment topics. Such as, invitation to Community Representatives Meeting held on May 5th; Inviting elected officials to opening of Courtown Pier; lobbying for waste management; a third Community Warden; enquiries to public works on derelict Bayview site in Courtown; invited Sen. Malcolm Byrne to Smart Village meeting.
Intended results
To ensure transparent and accountable consultation between elected officials, ourselves as a Community registered charity and the member of our local area. As ell as to ensure sympathetic and sustainable development of our local area and to feed back information to elected officials about challenges and opportunities in the local area.
