Meeting with Ambassador Hanney and John Collison (President & Co-Founder) and Sandrell Sultana (Public Policy) to exchange views on the digitisation of the economy through Covid and experiences of Irish businesses moving online.

Event / Reception (1)

Stripe-organized Brussels dinner with attendees including Frances Fitzgerald MEP and Billy Kelleher MEP. Discussed the importance of the Digital Single Market, Europe’s talent and capacity when it comes to innovation and shared our experience in building and growing a global online business out of Europe.

Sandrell Sultana (Public Policy) attended a roundtable organised by Banking and Payments Federation Ireland with Sean Fleming, Minister of State for Financial Services, Michael McGrath, Assistant Secretary at the Department of Finance, and Aidan O’Connor, Special Adviser to the Minister. Topics of discussion included policymaking in the EU and how important EU legislation can be for the attractiveness of Ireland as a location.
