The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Meeting (1)

Meeting took place to update the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government on the progress of the development of a new domestic refuge by COPE Galway and was held on site in the premises to be renovated for this purpose at 47 Forster Street. The opportunity was taken to update the Minister on other areas of the work of COPE Galway and in so doing a number of measures to increase social housing provision in Galway, to make private rented housing more accessible to people reliant on rent subsidies and to improve the response of services to people who are homeless were outlined to the minister and his support to progress these sought.
