Emails containing a copy of the pre-budget submission for 2021 and personalised letters attached inviting consideration of the proposals contained within both respectively and an invitation to follow up meetings both in-person and virtually.
Phone call (1)
An informal introductory call between the newly appointed Minister of State for Community Development and Charities and the CEO of our organisation to discuss volunteering policy generally and the COVID-19 response.
Submission (1)
A request for the establishment of a budget for the National Volunteering Strategy.
A request for funding to consolidate the development of the national volunteering database.
A request for central government funding for eight newly established Volunteer Centres and a 10% increase in funding of the existing 21 county-based local Volunteer Centres.
