Specific Details The exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union (BREXIT) is scheduled to be completed on 31.12.2020. This poses a huge threat to the Irish fishing industry unless the final negotiations deliver assurance on continued access for Irish fishing vessels to UK waters

Intended results The negotiations currently underway will assure a link between access for EU fishing vessels to UK fishing grounds and access for the UK to EU markets and reflecting the access availability since the formation of the EU.
