Misean Cara is an international and Irish faith-based missionary movement working with some of the most marginalised and vulnerable communities in developing countries, towards the Global Goals’ promise of peace and prosperity for people and planet. We are writing to you in the context of the Government Formation talks that are intensifying just now, in order to draw attention to the importance of sustaining Ireland and the European Union’s commitment to international development – particularly in the context of the current and future effects on poor countries of the COVID-19 pandemic.
