Specific Details Bord na Móna held public consultation sessions in Co. Longford from 27th-30th January, to provide the public with a forum where they could get information about the proposed Derryadd Wind Farm, engage with Bord na Móna representatives and share feedback on or concerns with the proposed project. Three Longford County Councillors attended the public consultation sessions, at various venues, and spoke with Bord na Móna representatives in attendance regarding the proposed project.

Intended results The public, particularly those communities living close to the proposed project, and their County Council representative are aware of the proposed Derryadd Wind Farm. Members of the public, including their representative County Councillors, have access to information on the proposed project and the opportunity to discuss it with Bord na Móna representatives.
