Specific Details Launch of The State We Are In - A Safety Audit of the state Ireland is in in relation to victims of domestic violence in the Mansion House, Dublin on the 19th of April.

Intended results To highlight the issues affecting women and children experiencing domestic violence in Ireland. Presenting evidence based research to make the case for changes in the legal system and housing policy in relation to victims of domestic violence. Making the case for additional investment in frontline services and prevention work relating to Domestic Violence.

For The State We Are In event live tweeting during the event, followed up the next day with a Facebook post with pictures from the event. The hashtag used was #TheStateWeAreIn. When the government was forming on the 5th of May SAFE Ireland sent out a tweet and Facebook status with our Political Call to Action video calling on the government not to forget domestic violence in the new Programme for Government, 2016.
