Letter was sent on 11 June outlining the key points of our submission and seeking support. A copy of our pre-budget submission was enclosed.
Submission (1)
Our pre-budget submission seeks:
Increases in funding of the Volunteer Infrastructure to bring all Volunteer Centres up to an independently identified minimum necessary to function.
Funding for current Volunteer Information Services to be converted into Volunteer Centres.
Establishing a bursary grant for the volunteer programmes of small volunteer involving organisations.
Further development of the national volunteering database, I-Vol.
