Intended results Have a meeting between the NSC and a Cabinet sub-committee to ensure that the issue of adult safeguarding policy and legislation and how it impacts on Government’s commitment to the UNCRPD, and on citizens could be more fully explored.

Letter (1)

Following a meeting with the Minister for Health in early Sept a cross departmental approach to adult safeguarding was discussed. The Minister for Health then communicated the key issues with An Taoiseach which was referenced in a to the NSC noting a follow up conversation
