Intended results
A meeting between the Minister and his Officials, and the Veterinary Ireland President and colleagues, in order to brief the Minister and Joint Oireachtas Committee Members on the concerns of Veterinary Ireland in relation to the changes made to the Code of Professional Conduct by the Veterinary Council of Ireland
Minister's intercession to suspend results of this re-interpretation of the law by the Veterinary Council of Ireland, pending proper and open consultation with Stakeholders
Return to pre-existing chapters of the Veterinary Council of Ireland's Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Practitioners
Submission on these matters to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and briefing of Joint Oireachtas Members on same.
