Intended results Continued financial support for a new non-profit initiative to promote the implementation of the PDA (titled Integrity at Work) and free legal advice for those making protected disclosures to be delivered by the Transparency Legal Advice Centre.

Meeting (1)

A meeting was held with Mr Greg Dempsey and his officials at the Department of Health on 17 July to brief him on the work of the Transparency Legal Advice Centre (see www.transparency.ie/helpline/TLAC) and the Integrity at Work initiative (see www.integrityatwork.ie).

Phone call (2-5)

Phone calls were made to Mr William Beausang of the Department of Public Expenditure (DPER) and Reform on 29 June and 4 August to advise him of our intention to submit a funding proposal and brief him on the work of the Transparency Legal Advice Centre and the Integrity at Work initiative.

Email (2-5)

Funding proposals were sent to Mr William Beausang in DPER on 27 July and Mr Greg Dempsey, Department of Health on 8 August in furtherance of the aforementioned initiatives.
