Mass communications

Event / Reception All Local Authority Members 5 July: We held a closed information sharing event discussing Local Authority migrant integration strategies. Representatives from all local authorities were invited (not all attended). The event included: 1. Presentations from international speakers discussing research and best practice examples 2. Presentations from groups on good Irish examples Representatives from 14 Local Authorities attended: Meath County Council Cork County Council Dubin City Council Westmeath County Council Limerick City and County Council Monaghan County Council Longford County Council Laois County Council Limerick City & County Council Carlow County Council Wicklow County Council Louth County Council Cork City Council Leitrim County Council Carol Baxter from the Department of Justice and Equality also attended the morning session.
