A series of briefing meetings to update on activity since the awarding of licencing options in the 2015 Atlantic Margin Licensing Round and outlining plans for future seismic work in 2017, to receive an update on the timeline for the publication of the Maritime Area and Foreshore (Amendment) Bill and to discuss the long-term operatorship of the Corrib Gas Project.
Intended results
To provide an update on activity undertaken since the awarding of licencing options in the 2015 Atlantic Margin Licensing Round and to outline plans for future seismic work in 2017. To receive an update on the timeline for the publication of the Maritime Area and Foreshore (Amendment) Bill.
To emphasise the importance of having a technically and financially capable operator of the Corrib Gas Project, should any future change in operatorship occur, in order to secure the long-term viability of the project.
