The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Event / Reception (2-5)

Attended two events co-ordinated by the Lord Mayor of Dublin promoting the employment of ex-offenders in the workforce. Event No 1: 16 January at the Mansion House, Dublin, hosted by the Lord Mayor. Event No 2: 15 March at Wheatfield Prison, hosted by Fergus Black of Irish Prison Service. A group of Community Based Organisations attended both events. At both events Paul Mooney introduced Jobcare and the work of the organisation with ex-offenders, Trasna work programme. The theme of the events was the employment of ex-offenders in the Cleaning, Catering and Construction employment sectors.
