Minister Simon Harris attended the launch of the Towards 2026 report which makes recommendations on building a patient-centred health service on April 29th. He met RCPI delegation including President, Prof Frank Murray, President Designate, Prof Mary Horgan, Dr Tom Keane, Prof Risteard O'Laoide and Siobhán Creaton to discuss the report's recommendations.

Letter to Minister Harris from Dr Peter Boylan, chair of Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists thanking him for his intervention in relation to women's and infant's healthcare at CUMH and to suggest that the appointment of a Clinical Director as Chief Executive for women and infants healthcare, with a protected budget, should should serve as a model for all hospital Groups.
