Specific Details ILFA wrote to Ministers Simon Harris and Finian McGrath T.D. to discuss the health needs of IPF patients and in particular to raise our urgent concerns about lung transplantation services at the National Heart and Lung Transplant Unit at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. ILFA seeking an opportunity to communicate member's needs to Government.

Intended results ILFA supports the introduction of a soft-opt out organ donation system to increase the number of potential organ donors and life saving transplant operations that can be carried out and urges the government to prioritise the progress of the Tissue Bill.
