The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Meeting (1)

This meeting held on Nov 15th was organized by the Federation of Irish Sports and included senior representatives of several of their member organisations which includes Cycling Ireland. The items covered were the challenges facing the various sports and the need to keep the funding levels at previous levels and ideally with an increase. There was also discussion on the Sports Capital scheme and how it was overly political. Questioned why NGBs were excluded from the scheme and how their role could be changed in the future. Various specific capital projects including the National Velodrome were discussed briefly.
