Specific Details Wrote to Minister Mary Butler regarding funding on 12th November 2024

Intended results Hoped to get a meeting with the minister to discuss our funding regime. We have to meet Regulation 28; we met one funding criteria for the upgrade of our fire alarms but not the second criteria. We wanted the opportunity to discuss this to see if we could be considered for funding to upgrade the fire alarms.

A response was received from the Private Secretary to Minister Butler to thank us for the correspondence and meeting request. The response advised that due to the electoral cycle and recent Dáil dissolution at the time, the Minister was not in a position to facilitate a meeting and that we should outline our concerns in writing and they would be passed onto Department officials to look into.
